Situated in the historic district of Palazzo Galli Tassi in Florence, Italy, this three-story building, dating back to the 16th century, has been repurposed into a multifunctional space that combines a bed and breakfast, exhibition space, and artist community.

PUBLIC DESIGN
The public areas are adorned with minimalist furnishings, allowing the historical ambiance and tranquil atmosphere to shine through, providing visitors with a space for deep reflection and relaxation. Carelessly placed greenery adds a natural and pleasing touch to the surroundings.

Bed & Breakfasts DESIGN
The entire building houses 8 different apartment layouts, each equipped with a kitchen, bedroom, and workspace, offering ample space and functionality. Each space exudes a unique ambiance, decorated with diverse artworks and furnishings, creating cozy environments.

Loft rooms feature a bright white palette and are furnished with Nordic minimalist or Bauhaus-style furniture and décor.

Other rooms are characterized by a vintage aesthetic, embodying a strong Wabi-Sabi style. Low beds and flowing curtains create an airy, serene atmosphere.

The weathered walls are deliberately treated to evoke a sense of history, providing a space for contemplation and imagination.

One room boasts intricate decor, maintaining an ornate style, complemented by minimalist furniture to balance the visual impact.

Texture-rich materials are used to create layers and enrich the design, while the use of contrasting and merging colors adds vibrancy.

Here, modernity intersects with history, showcasing an elegant atmosphere of art, communal living, and collaborative creativity.

After undergoing restoration, the 17th-century pub, The Three Horseshoes, reopened its doors to guests in April 2023. Located in Batcombe, Somerset, the inn is the first pub and inn owned by the renowned New Zealand chef Margot Henderson OBE.

Here, you can indulge in seasonal and local delicacies or choose to stay and experience the countryside charm. The inn features five guest rooms, each meticulously crafted by interior designer Frances Penn, complete with handmade beds, luxurious bathrooms, and carefully selected artwork and furnishings.

Meanwhile, Batcombe’s Libby Russell has designed an English country garden for long-term residents. Filled with roses, wildflowers, and herbs, the garden exudes fragrances of blooms during the spring and summer, offering a natural oasis. Here, you can leisurely stroll, bask in the gifts of nature, or capture beautiful photos amidst the floral paradise, leaving behind unforgettable memories.

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Morena Mountains in Spain lies a breathtaking accommodation experience – cave dwellings. Here, sandstone limestone forms gently sloping terrain, showcasing the rich geological composition of the area. These caves, formed by ancient geological processes, were once used by local residents as storage for agricultural tools or livestock sheds, but have now been ingeniously reimagined into charming rural homes.

Respecting the original structure of these caves, designers skillfully blend modern design with the natural environment, turning cave dwellings into not only comfortable abodes but also artistic masterpieces that seamlessly merge ancient geology with contemporary design. They intervene as little as possible with the walls and rocks, cleverly incorporating modern elements while preserving the original features, offering you an accommodation experience that is both traditional and modern.

Stepping into a cave dwelling, you will be captivated by its unique atmosphere. The walls retain the original texture of the rocks, as if recounting millennia-old stories. Modern furniture and amenities contrast sharply with the ancient rocks, creating a sensation of transcending time and space. Moreover, each cave dwelling boasts its own unique design and layout, from minimalist and cozy bedrooms to characterful living spaces, all crafted with meticulous attention to detail by the designers.
