Cueillette de Viltain:
Viltain Farm is a safe bet. Since 1954, it’s been a 50-hectare livestock and dairy farm in Jouy-en-Josas and Saclay. The picking season runs from April to October, offering tomatoes, zucchinis, eggplants, peppers, as well as peas, carrots, onions, cucumbers, European columbines, pumpkins, strawberries, black currants, raspberries, and blackberries. Additionally, depending on the season, you can find tulips, irises, fragrant carnations, lilies, and aromatic roses.
Cueillette de Torfou:
Located in the Junee Valley between Arpajon and Etréchy, spanning 20 hectares, it’s been owned by the Poupinel family for four generations. In winter, early vegetables like radishes and lettuce await curious visitors, followed by strawberries and spinach in the open fields. Next up are tomatoes, potatoes, and lilies, while the mid-June sky garden boasts strawberries, raspberries, and black currants. From mid-July onwards, you can discover the first batch of apples and several types of plums in the orchard.
Cueillette de Cergy:
La Cueillette de Cergy opens from May to October in a 40-hectare agricultural area behind the Cergy-le-Haut train station. Here, you can pick strawberries, raspberries, black currants, apples, plums, tomatoes, eggplants, zucchinis, mashed potatoes, beans, and more. Additionally, you can also pick tulips, sword lilies, dahlias, roses, and wildflowers.
